Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and HiggsCredit Technologies (“we”, “us”) for using PenPaper AI — the website, web app, desktop and mobile apps, and PenPaper AI on WhatsApp (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use PenPaper AI
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Anyone younger may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
2. What the Service does — and what you approve
PenPaper AI is an AI agent that can search, read your connected apps, fill forms, draft messages and carry out tasks for you. Actions that affect the outside world — sending an email or message, making a purchase or booking, paying, or deleting something — are shown to you first and happen only when you approve them, or under a standing permission you set and can revoke. You are responsible for the actions you approve and for checking drafts, amounts and recipients before you do.
3. AI can be wrong
Answers are generated by AI and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. PenPaper AI does not provide professional financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or other regulated advice, and it is not a bank, broker or registered investment adviser. Astrology and panchang content is for cultural and personal interest only. Check important information with a qualified professional or the official source before you rely on it.
4. Your content
You own what you put into the Service and what it produces for you. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share any content or connect any account you give the agent, including other people’s information.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law, or commit fraud, impersonation, harassment or abuse;
- access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to use;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
- create content that sexualises minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or infringes someone’s rights;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or get around its limits or safety controls.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Connected apps and third parties
When you connect Gmail, WhatsApp, a bank statement or any other third-party service, your use of that service stays under its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or what they do with your data.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Free plan costs nothing and has usage limits. Pro (₹399 a month) and Max (₹1,499 a month) are paid subscriptions — see Pricing.
- Paid plans are billed in advance each month through Razorpay and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in Indian rupees; applicable taxes such as GST are added where required.
- You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Billing, or by writing to us. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; it will not renew after that.
- Payments are not refundable for partly used periods, except where the law requires a refund or we have billed you in error. Write to us within 7 days of a charge you believe is wrong.
- Usage limits apply to every plan and depend on how long and heavy your tasks are. We may slow or pause usage that is far beyond normal personal use.
- We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days’ notice. A price change applies from your next billing period after the notice.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change, be added or be removed. Early desktop and mobile builds are provided as they are.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must by law; where reasonable we will tell you first. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as liability limits and governing law — continue after your account ends.
10. Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for losses caused by actions you approved or by third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you are on the Free plan. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly. Any dispute that we can’t resolve is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
12. Grievances and contact
Questions, complaints or notices: support@penpaperai.com. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and aims to resolve them within 15 days.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
